serving people + awaking hope

Awaking hope in the hearts of people where hope has grown dim is our purpose. Our source is Jesus. He is the gateway to faith and hope in God for every life circumstance.  Partner with us to inspire hope where hope is dim.

Ukraine Relief

As the war in Ukraine continues, we are in constant contact with our team in Ukraine. Relationships built through 30+ years of ministry in the former Soviet Union afford us multiple venues to offer aid directly to many Ukrainians displaced within the borders of their own country. We provide relief and financial aid to people in various parts of the country.  Our prayer for the Ukrainian people is Ezekiel 28:26, “They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety … and know that I am the Lord their God.”

Social Programs

In addition to serving children through orphan care, we provide resources to feed the needy in Israel, especially new immigrants. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2022, we have been providing resources of food, shelter, and transportation for many among the 6 million Ukrainians displaced within their own borders.

Orphan Care

In 2005, we opened the House of Joy orphanage at the Ukraine officials’ request. Nearly 200 children have been lovingly cared for during these years. The current crisis has presented great hardship, but, as of today, all of the current 49 residents are healthy and well cared for.

Leadership Training

The goal for a new church plant is to become a healthy spiritual force, reaching its community and beyond. This requires a commitment to training disciples and leaders. One resource for this is our video Bible school program.

Church Planting

We made our first journey into the former Soviet Union in the early 1990s. Our primary focus quickly became church planting. We have been privileged to participate in seeing 206 new churches planted. Our main source of training has been video-formatted Bible schools established in the local churches.

Everyday life for Ukrainians was dramatically altered, as were all of our ministry endeavors. A proper response required assessing what the situation might look like for the future. Our focus quickly became two-fold: 1. Making sure that the 49 children residing at House of Joy remained safe. Delivering aid to people inside Ukraine. House of
